La pelle del paesaggio
Macte Museum Termoli  Italy
Amaci Giornata del Contemporaneo 2026
Ph M. Pasqualone

On the occasion of the 22nd Contemporary Art Day, MACTE presents the artistic practice of Alessandro Roma for one day. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the video La Pelle del Paesaggio (The Skin of the Landscape), a spatial activation of painting through painted garments and the possibilities of movement of nature in symbiosis with the human body. Mountain, River, Tree, Sun and Root are the five chapters that shape a process of transformation, presenting the landscape as a living organism in a state of constant change. The video features music composed by Guillermo Lago for saxophone, performed by Caroline Halleck and the Groupe Vocale Viriditas choir.
In the museum’s rotunda, visitors will also be able to admire five kimono artworks painted by Alessandro Roma, which will come to life during a performance by Molise-born dancer Alisia Ialicicco at 6:30 pm.
The event will be followed by an open exchange of ideas with the audience, featuring artist Alessandro Roma and dancer Alisia Ialicicco, moderated by Caterina Riva, Director of MACTE.
