La collaborazione tra la musicista Caroline Halleck e l’artista visivo Alessandro Roma darà vita a una performance in cui il suono si insinuerà nelle immagini, aprendo uno spazio in cui lo spettatore verrà lentamente trasportato.
Il sassofono di Caroline Halleck costruirà un programma che inizierà gradualmente con brani che rimandano ai suoni della natura, in particolare al canto degli uccelli, arrivando a composizioni di musica sacra e popolare accompagnati da suoni elettronici per chiudersi con forti influenze jazz e musica  Afroamericana.  Lo spettatore sarà invitato ad accomodarsi sulle immagini di Alessandro Roma, teli e cuscini dipinti dall’artista: sedute in cui si potrà fruire la performance diventando così parte integrante del lavoro.  La preziosa sala principale di Villa Roberti, con i suoi affreschi cinquecenteschi, farà da cornice a The peacocks and the snake, accogliendo lo spettatore in un’ambientazione unica, dove musica e immagini lo condurranno in una dimensione imaginifica per dar vita a nuove allegorie.

The collaboration between musician Caroline Halleck and artist Alessandro Roma gives life to an experience in which sound becomes one with image, transporting the viewer to this open and connected space. The sound of the saxophone builds a program with pieces reminiscent of nature, particularly the songs of birds, arriving to compositions both sacred and profane accompanied by electronics, to conclude with music influenced by jazz and African American culture. The audience will be invited to take their seat directly on the images of Alessandro Roma, canvas and cushions painted by the artist; seated in this way the spectator is transformed into an integral part of the works.  The beautiful main room of Villa Roberti, with its sixteenth-century frescoes, provides the frame to The peacocks and the snake, welcoming the viewer to a unique setting, where music and image lead to an imaginary dimension filled with new allegories.
